-a wife that loves me, and takes care of me
-a step daughter that brings jo to our house
-a job that even though I always complain about provides for my family
-a great and awesome God that looks out for us and always does what is best for us even though we may not agree
-wonderful friends that really do care about me and would do anything for me
-a super brother and sister in law
-a warm and dry home
-a car that gets me where I am going
-a great church home
-and I am sure that I am forgrtting a whole bunch of things
Everyone just needs to remember that no matter how difficult things seem to be there is always something to be thankful for!

Let me preface this by saying I am a total diehard Notre Dame football fan, but.... Bill Moor wrote in is column in the South Bend Tribune "Did you hear that Notre Dame is changing its mascot from a leprechaun to a possum? That's because the Irish play dead at home and get killed on the road."
Better to laugh than cry...........

I was regretting the past and fearing the future. Suddenly my God was speaking, My name is I AM. He paused. I waited. He continued. When you live in the past, with its mistakes and regrets, it is hard. I am not there. My name is not I WAS. When you live in the future, with its problems and fears, it is hard. I am not there. My name is not I WILL BE. When you live in this moment, it is not hard. I am here. My name is I AM.
My friend Sara had this posted on her blog. The first day I read it twice and didn't get it. The second day it finally sank in. God is here with us in the present. If we are living in the past, or in the future he is not there.
Sometimes I think I have a tendency to live in the future, instead of taking care of things in the present. I don't know.......
