When you live in the past, with its mistakes and regrets, it is hard. I am not there. My name is not I WAS. When you live in the future, with its problems and fears, it is hard. I am not there. My name is not I WILL BE. When you live in this moment, it is not hard. I am here. My name is I AM.
My friend Sara had this posted on her blog. The first day I read it twice and didn't get it. The second day it finally sank in. God is here with us in the present. If we are living in the past, or in the future he is not there.
Sometimes I think I have a tendency to live in the future, instead of taking care of things in the present. I don't know.......
